LND-1 Coating Four Viscometer (Portable)
1、 Purpose:
This instrument is mainly used to determine the kinematic viscosity of Newtonian or approximate Newtonian fluid coatings, and can also be used for comparative measurements as needed. Suitable for measuring the viscosity of coating products within 30s to 100s, it is a portable viscometer that measures the viscosity of the liquid after it is filled and flows out of the hole in seconds.
2、 Principle
The viscosity measured by the LND-1 viscometer is the conditional viscosity, which is the time it takes for a certain amount of sample to flow out of a specified pore size at a certain temperature, expressed in seconds. The following formula can be used to convert the sample outflow time in seconds (S) into the kinematic viscosity value (mm2/s).
γ=(t-6.0)/0.223(30s≤t≤100s)
Among them, t - outflow time (s)
γ - kinematic viscosity (mm2/s)
3、 Main technical characteristics
3.1 The viscosity cup is made of brass with a capacity of approximately 100 milliliters. Its geometric dimensions and inner wall roughness comply with the provisions of GB/T1723 Coating Viscosity Determination Method, and its bottom is a stainless steel outflow hole.
3.2 Correction coefficient K value refers to the time it takes for the viscosity cup to be filled with secondary standard oil under set temperature conditions (such as 20 ℃± 0.1 ℃), and the flow time should be within the range of 30s to 100s. The K value should be within the range of 1 ± 0.03. The viscometer should be calibrated regularly according to its frequency of use.
